What is the Graduation Follow-up?
Districts are committed and accountable to following up with students after graduation to determine the impact of education in preparing students for Enrollment, Enlistment and Employment. Currently, the Missouri Department of Elementary and Secondary Education does this by measuring the extent to which the students of an LEA or school pursue gainful opportunities after graduation. Key indicators are the percent of graduates who engage in one or more of the following: college enrollment, trade/technical school, employment, military service, and/or National or Community Service or Peace Corps.
