Foundation awards more than $16,000 in grants

The Raymore-Peculiar Public School Foundation Board on Oct. 25, 2023, awarded more than $16,000 in grant awards to staff and students across the District.

The fund will be used for a variety of items, including books, supplies, shirts and stickers, coding kits, development toys and activities, sound effect instruments, roller skates, and more.

Participating in the surprise presentations were: Foundation Executive Director Jodie Huston, Superintendent Dr. Mike Slagle, School Board President Ruth Johnson and Foundation Board Members Amy Bowden, Eric Collins, Ashley Crowe, Michelle Houston, Jodi Price, and Pam Steele.
