Prism Cover

Prism Magazine

The 2024-2025 Prism Art Magazine is printed and ready for purchase for $5. The Prism includes almost 200 full color photos of artworks created by Ray-Pec high school students.

The Prism magazine is available to purchase by students in Mrs. Hellums classroom. Parents or community members can make arrangements with Amy Hellums to pick them up at the High School office.

The money collected from sales will be used for art scholarships for 2025 seniors. For questions or to make arrangements for purchase email Amy Hellums at amy.hellums@raypec.org

Bingo Night

Bingo Night

The Ray-Pec Student Senate is excited to once again host Bingo Night! It will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday, April 25, in the High School’s Library/Media Center. This fun, annual event brings our community together for a great cause, a fun night of games and prizes, as well as a variety of concessions! Bingo cards are $5 each. Bingo chips are $2. Cash and card payments will be accepted. All proceeds from this event will go toward the Derek Slinger Scholarship, which assists dedicated, community-serving students with their ongoing education.

RPSMS Spring Play

Ray-Pec South Middle School announces its production of the comedy “[NO] Vacancy.” It's a wacky murder mystery that takes place in a hotel! What do you do when a pop star goes missing, a guest is presumed dead and there's a huge case of mistaken identity? Take a nap, of course! Performances will be at 7 p.m. May 1-3 at the Academy Theatre at Ray-Pec High School. Tickets will be $5 and may be purchased online here.

The Peculiar Chamber of Commerce announces the Peculiar Tailgate Festival from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. Saturday, May 3, in downtown Peculiar. The event will include food trucks, live music, games, a parade, a cornhole tournament, vendors, and an area for children. Flyer

Help protect our water and environment and save landfill space by properly disposing of your old cell phone, computer, television, and other electronics at the Annual Electronic Collection Event, scheduled from 8 a.m. to noon Saturday, May 10, in the parking lot at Ray-Pec Innovation Academy, 21001 S. School Rd., Peculiar. For a list of items that are accepted at no charge, items that require a fee, and items that will not be accepted, go here. The Ray-Pec Robotics Team “System Meltdown” FRC 2357 will be on hand to help unload your electronics. Donations gladly accepted. Checks and cash only. Please leave original packaging at home.

Ray-Pec Yard Signs

Show your school spirit by displaying a yard sign sporting your favorite Ray-Pec activity, sport, graduating year, or more! Each yard sign is $65. It includes the Panther image and “Ray-Pec Panthers” wording. A hard stake and hardware will be included.

Each personalized plaque is $15 and can include up to 15 characters. Hardware to attach the plaque will be included.

Orders are placed on the 15th of each month. Buyers will be emailed that their order is ready for pickup or delivery. Order here
