Polar Plunge

The Polar Plunge takes place on Saturday, Jan. 25, at Longview Lake, and money raised will benefit Special Olympics - Missouri. This is Teacher Jeff Moore’s 30th year in the District and his last year to coordinate the Ray-Pec Polar Plunge. Please consider joining the team or donating to one of the individuals on the team.

Peculiar Community Fair flyer

Peculiar Community Fair - Jan. 25

You are invited to attend the third annual Peculiar Community Fair from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 25, at the Peculiar Lions Club building, 500 Schug Ave., Peculiar.

This free event is a great way to learn about what is going on in Peculiar. There will be booths from Shull Early Learning Center, Ray-Pec Parents as Teachers, and a group of students (Tech Titans) from the LEAD Center. There will also be a Kids Corner.

The event will also feature booths from the Cass County Library, City of Peculiar Parks and Recreation, Peculiar Police Department, and other civic organizations and vendors.

Transition and Resource Fair

Save the date! The Northern Cass County Special Education Cooperative has scheduled its Transition and Resource Fair for 6 to 7:30 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 25, at the LEAD Center, 1210 W. Foxwood Dr., Raymore.

The event is an opportunity for families of special education students to connect with community organizations, explore education and training options, discover employment and volunteer resources, and learn about support services for independent living.

Mini Prowler Clinic

Mini Prowler Clinic and Basketball Game Performance

Perform with the Ray-Pec High School Prowlers Dance Team!  Mini Prowler participants will learn dance technique plus a routine from the talented Prowlers. Participants do not have to go to Ray-Pec schools and previous dance experience is not required. Each participant will receive one ticket into the game.
When:  Clinic: 6 to 8 p.m. Monday, Feb. 3. Performance: Arrive at 6:45 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 4.
Where: RPHS High School Main Gym, 20801 S. School Rd., Peculiar
Ages:   Pre-K through 8th Grade
Cost:    $40 includes a Mini Prowler Shirt

Father-Daughter Dance Graphic

Father-Daughter Dance

The Ray-Pec Band and Color Guard presents the annual Father-Daughter Dance from 6 to 8 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 8, at Ray-Pec South Middle School, 20501 S. School Rd. Girls in kindergarten through fifth grade are invited to attend with their father or another special adult.

The Starry Night Father-Daughter Dance is a fundraiser event held for the Band and Color Guard. The event includes dancing, games, treat and more. Souvenir gifts will be available for purchase.

Health Care Scholarships

Taste of Ray-Pec Flyer

Taste of Ray-Pec Fundraiser

You are invited to the Taste of Ray-Pec: an evening of food, drinks, live and silent auctions, and games. The Taste of Ray-Pec is scheduled 5:30 to 9 p.m. Saturday, April 5, at the Raymore Activity Center, 1011 S. Madison St. It is a fundraiser to benefit the Raymore-Peculiar Public School Foundation. This year's event has a disco theme.

Ray-Pec Yard Signs

Show your school spirit by displaying a yard sign sporting your favorite Ray-Pec activity, sport, graduating year, or more! Each yard sign is $65. It includes the Panther image and “Ray-Pec Panthers” wording. A hard stake and hardware will be included.

Each personalized plaque is $15 and can include up to 15 characters. Hardware to attach the plaque will be included.

Orders are placed on the 15th of each month. Buyers will be emailed that their order is ready for pickup or delivery. Order here

April 4th Middle School Choir performing at Royals Game

Save the date!

The Ray-Pec middle school choirs will perform the National Anthem before the Kansas City Royals game on April 4, 2025. The Royals will host the Baltimore Orioles on Friday, April 4,at Kauffman Stadium. Game time is 6:40 p.m.
