RP Cheer Tryouts

Ray-Pec Cheer mandatory clinics will occur from 3:15 to 5:30 p.m. on April 8 and 9 in the RPHS Gym. Middle School Tryouts are on April 10, and High School Tryouts are on April 11. Results for all squads will be posted by 10 p.m. on April 11. To sign up, click here.

Whataburger March 13th

MSTA Fundraiser

Eat at the Raymore Whataburger from 4 to 7 p.m. Wednesday, March 13, and 20 percent of your total benefits the Ray-Pec Chapter of the Missouri State Teachers Association. This includes eating inside, drive-thru and online orders.

The Kansas City Royals mascot Sluggerrr will be there from 5 to 6 p.m. The WhatAGuy character will be there from 4 to 7 p.m. An antique fire engine will also be on hand for photo opportunities.

Free Program For Students Interested in a Teaching Career

The Missouri State University College of Education invites current high school freshmen, sophomores, and juniors who are interested in pursuing a teaching career to participate in a free program. The #BearsTeach event will be held June 2-6, 2025, on the Springfield campus and will immerse students in some of the opportunities they can expect from their college experience. 

Students will attend workshops on different aspects of campus life, experience living in a residence hall, learn about a variety of education careers, and explore Springfield by attending local attractions. Students will also be led by mentors who are current College of Education students and will be able to meet several faculty members. The activities are designed to familiarize students with the college experience and give them the opportunity to start planning for college and their careers.

Dates and Times for Ray-Pec Volleyball Camps

Mark your calendars for late spring and summer volleyball activities at Ray-Pec! Students should select an activity based on their grade for the 2025-2026 school year. Here is the signup link.


Mini Panther Camp

Students who will enter grades 5-8 during the 2025-2026 school year are invited to attend the Mini Panther Camp June 9-11 in the Ray-Pec High School main gym. The time for 5th and 6th graders is 4 to 5:30 p.m. The time for 7th and 8th graders is 6 to 7 p.m. Athletes will receive a Ray-Pec Volleyball Camp T-shirt. $50 per camper.

Volleyball Open Gyms

  • Incoming 9th graders are invited to volleyball open gym time from 3 to 4:30 p.m. May 13 and May 20 at the Ninth Grade Center. No charge.

  • Grades 10-12 are invited to volleyball open gym time from 3 to 4:30 p.m. May 15 and May 22 at the Ninth Grade Center. No charge.

High School Summer Camps

  • Volleyball Skills Camp

    • Date: June 5, 19, & 26 

    • Time: 1:30 to 3:30 p.m. 

    • Location: RPHS Main Gym

    • $50 per camper.

  • UCM Team Camp

    • June 12 & 13

  • Volleyball Team Camp

HEALTH CARE SCHOLARSHIPS FROM CASS COMMUNITY HEALTH FOUNDATION

Health Care Scholarships

Taste of Ray-Pec Flyer

Taste of Ray-Pec Fundraiser

You are invited to the Taste of Ray-Pec: an evening of food, drinks, live and silent auctions, and games. The Taste of Ray-Pec is scheduled 5:30 to 9 p.m. Saturday, April 5, at the Raymore Activity Center, 1011 S. Madison St. It is a fundraiser to benefit the Raymore-Peculiar Public School Foundation. This year's event has a disco theme.

Ray-Pec Yard Signs

Show your school spirit by displaying a yard sign sporting your favorite Ray-Pec activity, sport, graduating year, or more! Each yard sign is $65. It includes the Panther image and “Ray-Pec Panthers” wording. A hard stake and hardware will be included.

Each personalized plaque is $15 and can include up to 15 characters. Hardware to attach the plaque will be included.

Orders are placed on the 15th of each month. Buyers will be emailed that their order is ready for pickup or delivery. Order here

April 4th Middle School Choir performing at Royals Game

Save the date!

The Ray-Pec middle school choirs will perform the National Anthem before the Kansas City Royals game on April 4, 2025. The Royals will host the Baltimore Orioles on Friday, April 4, at Kauffman Stadium. Game time is 6:40 p.m.

The Cass County Dental Clinic announces a new location opening later this year at 1000 E. Markey Parkway in Belton. Appointments are now available for children insured by Medicaid. Current locations are 802 E. Walnut St.., Belton (816-322-7600) and 103 Oriole St., Harrisonville (816-380-4000).
