How to enroll for Summer School

Create Account In Focus SIS

To register students for Summer School, you must first create an account in the district's new student information system called Focus School Software. This change is necessary because Tyler SIS, our current system, is being discontinued.

You will create the account in Focus SIS: https://raypec.focusschoolsoftware.com/focus and link your student(s) to your account.

Once completed, you can register your student(s) for summer school.

Dates for Summer School 2024

Elementary and Middle School - June 3 to June 27, Monday through Thursday. (As June 19 is a holiday, students will attend on Friday, June 21.) Virtual opportunities will be provided through Launch.
High School
- June 3 to June 28, Monday through Friday - virtual and in-person. (No classes on June 19.)
- July 1 to July 26, Monday through Friday - virtual only. (No classes on July 4.)

Daily schedule

Elementary start/end times: 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. with a 20-minute lunch
Middle School start/end times: 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. with a 20-minute lunch
High School start/end times: 9 a.m. to 12:20 p.m. Breakfast is available from 8:30 to 8:50 a.m. Summer fitness hours are 6 to 8:50 a.m. The afternoon session is virtual.

Elementary and middle school overview

Summer School for K-5 provides remediation and enrichment in two-week units (8 days). The program integrates science, technology, engineering, arts, and math topics into courses in a project-based format.
Summer School for grades 6-8 integrates science, technology, engineering, arts, and math topics in a project-based format with a theme of Summer in Space.

BOOST Child Care

BOOST (Best Out of School Time) will be open before and after school at all summer school locations. BOOST will also be open for camp starting in July through Aug. 9. BOOST Camp locations will be Timber Creek and Bridle Ridge elementary schools. BOOST

Transportation

Transportation is provided for all K-12 students, as needed. Morning and afternoon transportation is available. As in-person high school classes will be a half-day program, mid-day transportation will be provided to high school students only. Summer School Bus Routes
