The Kansas City Cappies is a non-profit organization that celebrates high school theatre in the Kansas City area. A team of student critics from each high school is trained to write theatrical critiques. The critics attend shows at other schools and write reviews. Critics who see at least five shows in a season are eligible to vote for awards.
