Three Ray-Pec High School students have qualified to compete at the DECA International Career Development Conference to be held April 26 to May 1 in Anaheim, CA. The three qualifiers are: Logan Balentine and Andres Kemper, who placed 4th in Entrepreneurship Team Decision Making, and Connor Cranston, who placed 7th in Human Resource Management.

They were among nine Ray-Pec students who attended and competed at the 76th Missouri DECA State Career Development Conference March 3-5 at Crown Center in Kansas City. Students competed in areas of marketing, management, finance, and entrepreneurship through a series of testing, role plays, written projects, and presentations.
Other students who competed were: Muhammad Bhatti, Isabel Blakely, Isaiah Cox, Kambell Johnson, Allen Moore, and Jacob Powell.
DECA prepares emerging leaders and entrepreneurs for careers in marketing, finance, hospitality and management in high schools and colleges around the globe. Teacher Kim Schrader is the DECA Chapter sponsor.
