Raymore-Peculiar High School announces its production of the classic family musical comedy "Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat." Performances will be at 7:30 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 21, Friday, Nov. 22, and Saturday, Nov. 23; and at 2:30 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 24, at the new Performing Arts Center at Ray-Pec High School.

Based on the Biblical story of Joseph, this production follows the journey of a young dreamer, sold into slavery by his jealous brothers, who ultimately rises to prominence in Egypt. With its catchy tunes, colorful costumes, and captivating storytelling, this family-friendly musical celebrates themes of hope, forgiveness, and the power of dreams. Working behind the scenes are Teacher Dane Schnake as the director, Stephen Rew as the musical director, and Teacher Adam Segura as the technical director. Patron Kay Connelly, Patron Michael Connelly, Teacher Jayme Overstreet, Retired Teacher Pam Schnake, and Retired Teacher Todd Schnake are production assistants.
