Several Ray-Pec staff members and students were recognized today at the Get on the Bus event held by the Ewing Marion Kauffman Foundation today. 🌟
Seniors Mackenzie Spiller and Izzy Martin both won Student Agency Superstar Awards for their outstanding work toward regional Real World Learning efforts. Spiller is one of two captains of the Student Voice Delegates group that represents the voices of over 80,000 students in the metro area. Izzy Martin is the editor of the Publish Our Voices (P.O.V) magazine that gives information about RWL efforts and highlights success stories in the Kansas City metro area.
Ray-Pec Enterprise and Design teachers Sarah Renfrow and Stefani Russ were also honored with the Pedagogy Pioneers award for their incredible leadership in the Real World Learning space for both Ray-Pec and as exemplars for the region as a whole.
