Sgt Josh Giacone joined Mrs. Lasala's second grade PE class for some fun!

Second-graders at Raymore Elementary learned about being a part of a community this week and conducted an interview with a member of the community to find out how their work benefits Raymore. The general manager of our neighborhood Culver's restaurant, Mr. Reed Heinrich, visited the class to explain why he feels working there benefits the Raymore community. Mr. Heinrich discussed how he can provide joy to the residents of Raymore by serving out tasty meals and giving them courteous treatment. The second graders enjoyed quizzing him, and they all expressed a desire to visit Culver's to learn more about what he had to say.

Fifth grade students in Mrs. Barbee's class finished their ELA Project Based Instruction (PBI) this week. They researched a country or state they wanted to visit. As part of the project, they also created travel brochures and figurines on the 3D printer to represent their country or state. Our fifth graders were so excited and proud of their hard work! Shout out to these RE Tigers!
