The Raymore-Peculiar High School Theatre Department is pleased to announce its production of the classic American play “Our Town.”
Performances of “Our Town” will be in the Ray-Pec High School Theatre at 7:30 p.m. Thursday, May 4; Friday, May 5; and Saturday, May 6; and at 2:30 p.m. Sunday May 7. Tickets may be reserved by calling the box office line, 892-3999, extension 2400. Tickets are $6 for students and $7 for adults.
Ray-Pec Theatre is proud to present this moving play about what is truly important in life. Winner of the Pulitzer Prize for Drama in 1938, “Our Town” follows the lives of the people of Grover’s Corners, New Hampshire, and in doing so, examines what it means to be human. “Our Town” has been performed thousands of times around the world and carries a message as important today as when it was originally written.

Working behind the scenes are Teacher Todd Schnake as the director, and patrons Pam Schnake, Michael Connelly and Kay Connelly as production assistants. The lighting designer is Jillian Griffin. The assistant directors for “Our Town” are Avery Monnig and Alia Abdelgawad. The stage manager is Owen Phillips. The sound designer is Aisha Yanez-Corea. Props are overseen by Abigail Anderson and Hailey Feagins. The costume crew is headed up by Kennedy Varner and the hair and make-up crew is lead by Lillian Kocher.
This is the last show that will be directed by Todd Schnake as the head of the RPHS Theatre Department, as he retires at the end of June.
