Foundation Surprise Patrol

The Ray-Pec Public School Foundation Surprise Patrol on March 13, 2025 awarded more than $15,500 in grant awards across the district. High School teachers received two grants.

Law Enforcement Teachers Kevin Lemen and Josh Henry received a $887 grant to purchase five pairs of vision impairment goggles.

Science Teacher Jennifer Waterfield received a $340.80 grant to purchase two new microwaves. They will be replacing an old microwave to enable better completion of labs.

Foundation Surprise Patrol

Foundation Executive Director Jodie Huston made the surprise presentations, along with Superintendent Dr. Mike Slagle and Foundation Board Members Ashley Crowe, Michelle Houston, Bryan Mallory, Jodi Price, and Cathy Wansing.

The grants will be used for a variety of items, including books, gardening tools, standing desks, science supplies, Bosu balls, LCD writing tablets, alphabet stepping stones, sensory play materials, video cameras for student journalists, and a stacked washer and dryer.
