Ray-Pec High School introduces Coach John Lersch as the new Head Baseball Coach.
Coach Lersch comes to us from the Clinton School District, where he was the Head Baseball Coach for this past season after joining the baseball staff as the Varsity Assistant Coach. Prior to coaching the Clinton Cardinal’s Baseball Program, Coach Lersch worked for 10 years at UPS after serving 6 years in the Missouri Army National Guard on the enlisted side.
Coach Lersch played baseball for 2 years at North Arkansas College (1B/DH) in Harrison, AR. Coach Lersch is excited to return to the Raymore-Peculiar School district where he began his education in kindergarten at Peculiar Elementary.
Coach Lersch said he is extremely excited for this opportunity to be the head baseball coach for the Ray-Pec Panthers. He looks forward to being a part of our great community and school district. Coach Lersch looks for the program to be built on the drive to WIN (Work hard, have Integrity, Never Quit) in the classroom, in the community, and on the field. He believes that if the team can accomplish these three goals the team will continue to have an extremely successful baseball program.
Coach Lersch will be teaching business classes at Ray-Pec High School.
