December 21st will be our first early release day of the school year. The school day will begin at the normal time of 7:25 am and will end at 11:46 am.

First semester ends on December 21st, 2023. Please encourage students to make sure they finish the semester strong by completing their assignments and studying for any upcoming assessments. In order to not overwhelm students with all end of semester assessments on one day, a schedule has been created to spread the assessments out throughout the week.

Pro X Summer 2024 Internship Opportunities for Students
Pro X is a paid internship program for high school students in grades 9-12. Students will have the opportunity to work with local employers on real-world projects, gain valuable skills and experience, and earn a $1,250 stipend. The program runs from June 3rd through July 11th and students will get 21 hours of work with employers and 4 hours of Pro X professional development each week.

NGC After-School Tutoring
After-school tutoring is on Thursday afternoons at the Ninth Grade Center from 2:45 until 3:45pm. Tutoring is offered for the core content areas (math, science, English, and social studies). Students need to have their own transportation home and be able to be picked up right at the conclusion of tutoring. There is limited availability for spaces and students may need to be prioritized by need. Students can speak with their teachers to request to sign up.
