We want to give a huge shoutout to our incredible PTA for organizing Haunted Knights! We can't thank you enough for putting together such a fantastic event. It was an absolute joy to see all the families and kids dressed up in their awesome costumes. The energy and excitement was contagious, and everyone had an incredible time. We also want to extend a special thanks to our amazing teachers and staff for joining in on the fun and wearing their own creative costumes. We couldn't have asked for a better night!

See you tonight!

Students had a great time dressing up during this week's themed days. Look at these students and teachers who are twinning today!

Join us at Eagle Glen for our Thanksgiving Feast on Wednesday, November 15th. Please see Flyer (included in this post) for all the details!

What an incredible week at Eagle Glen. Our 1st-grade class had the privilege of hosting some AMAZING special guest speakers last week including a farmer, a scientist, a highway patrol officer, and our very own superintend Dr. Slagle. The kids had so many questions and were completely engaged throughout the day. It was heartwarming to see our students learning firsthand about the diverse roles that help shape our community.
A HUGE thank you to all our guest speakers for taking the time to inspire and educate our young minds today! 🙌🌟

👩🏫📚 October is National Principals Month! 🏫👨🏫
Let's take a moment to celebrate and appreciate our incredible principals who dedicate their lives to shaping the future of our students. 🙌👏

🌟 Happy National Custodian's Day! 🧹🪣
Today, we want to take a moment to celebrate the unsung heroes who keep our schools clean and safe. 💪🧽
Behind the scenes, custodians work tirelessly to ensure we have a clean and pleasant environment to learn, work, and thrive in. They are the ones who make sure our spaces sparkle and shine, even when we're not looking. ✨
To all of our custodians, we are incredibly grateful for all that you do. 🙌❤️ #NationalCustodiansDay #ThankACustodian

"ON AIR"---Did you know that 5th grade students host our school wide "live" announcements each morning?

Pie in the face for Pledges! APEX FUN!

We kicked off the 2023-24 school year with a bang this morning! 💥 All Ray-Pec staff filled the high school gym for convocation and to celebrate the beginning of another wonderful school year.
"This morning, our celebration is all about the dreams of our students. Students are coming to us wanting to have a successful and meaningful life. That’s our mission. And that’s their dream. It is our job to make that dream possible. All of us, and I mean anyone in this room employed or in an elected leadership role of the Ray-Pec School District, has the duty to deliver on or support the mission of our school district. Everyone. Our theme for this year is that we are all 'Dreammakers.'"
At the end of the ceremony Superintendent, Dr. Mike Slagle, asked all staff who were committed to being "Dreammakers" for students to stand. What a scene. 🖤💛

The Cass County Health Department is offering walk-in clinics July 31 through Aug. 18 for back to school immunizations. You may also obtain the vaccinations at your health care provider.
