Missouri’s annual back-to-school sales tax holiday begins at 12:01 a.m. Friday, August 4th, and runs through midnight on Sunday, August 6th. During this time, certain back-to-school purchases such as school supplies, computers, clothing, diapers, and other qualifying items as defined by statute are exempt from all state and local sales tax. 💻✏️🎒👕
New this year, in addition to the state sales tax, local sales tax will also be waived in all cities, counties, and special tax districts.
Learn more about qualifying purchases in the Missouri Department of Revenue’s news release.

Tomorrow is August 1st! It's time to start thinking about heading back to school.

Third grade students learned about what plants and animals need to survive. Their culminating project was to make a habitat for bees. They had to consider what bees need in their environment to survive and thrive.

Peyton Delt, Kaylee Snider, and Kaiden Stewart represented Peculiar Elementary at the district Spelling Bee on Wednesday. Congratulations to all of them for being the building top spellers and for the effort they put into the district bee.
