Recently, our K–5 students had the opportunity to engage in our buddies program, which pairs up an upper level classroom with a lower level classroom. While listening to a book about kindness, students were teamed up and given the chance to interact with one another. After that, buddies worked together in a kindness activity. The students enjoyed themselves and made new friends!
Raymore Elementary is excited to celebrate our #KansasCityChiefs making it to the #superbowl for the 3rd time in 4 seasons[!] so we have created a Super Bowl Spirit Week of fun for next week! While we hope all students want to participate, these themed dress up days are always optional.

Raymore Elementary conducted a 5th grade science museum gallery walk through on Thursday, January 26th, for their parents/guardians highlighting their Project Lead the Way activities. Students worked in groups to build and present a tri-fold board containing information about their selected space theme, as well as a hands-on activity. They investigated their topics and developed presentations that included a hands-on component.
